GobizKorea: A Government-Supported Platform for Korean Products with Tailored Matching Service and Verified Suppliers
GobizKOREA, operated by the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME), is an online trading platform designed to help international buyers search for competitive Korean products and facilitate transactions. The platform was launched in 1996, and attracted 37.53 million annual visitors in 2024.
Over 89,000 government-verified Korean companies have joined the platform, with more than 310,000 registered products and 359,000 global buyers actively engaging in trade.
GobizKorea supports online transactions through direct marketing campaigns, AI-based recommendations, online matching fairs, and promotional programs tailored to international buyers.
Buyer-Oriented Workflow: “Search – Inquiry – Verification – Deal”
On GobizKorea, international buyers can browse products and send inquiries for quotations or consultations. Then GobizKorea connects buyers with suitable products and suppliers through its own verification process. In 2024 alone, the platform recorded 30,184 inquiries from global buyers.
Exclusive Value-Added Services for Buyers
The Business Matching Service (BMS) provides customized support for global buyers, including supplier identification, communication, meeting arrangements, and follow-up management. The Visitor Assistance Program (VAP) offers comprehensive offline support for buyers visiting Korea, such as bilingual interpretation, accompaniment for meetings, exhibitions, and factory visits, as well as assistance with transportation, accommodation, and company directories. Both services are exclusively available to buyers, ensuring reliability and efficiency through public-sector operation.
