On June 14th, the "Li-Ning Cup" 2025 China Pickleball Tour Dongying Stop (CPC-1000) and "Good Luck Shandong" Yellow River Estuary Pickleball Open commenced at the Dongying Port Pickleball Theme Park in Xianhe Town, Dongying Port Economic Development Zone. Over 260 elite pickleball players from more than 20 regions across China were brought together at Dongying Port for the two-day tournament.
The event aims to promote the popularization of pickleball , establish Xianhe Town as a distinctive sports destination and infuse the city with dynamic energy.
Divided into open group and evergreen group, the tournament hosted over 260 matches, which balance competitiveness with public participation. The open division included men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. The evergreen division comprised men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. The venue buzzed with excitement as athletes showcased energetic spirit and seamless teamwork. Their superb skills and tenacity drew thunderous applause from spectators, highlighting both personal competative style and team cooperation spirit.
This event will further raise public enthusiasm of pickleball, facilitate national fitness initiatives and simultaneously showcase Xianhe Town’s urban charm, cultural heritage, and sports prowess in virtue of the influence of the national competition. It will also promote the development of local pickleball industry, injecting new vitality into socioeconomic development.
