Since 29 April 2024, the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul has experienced the worst natural disaster in its history. Heavy rains for several days triggered severe flooding and landslides, killing 100 people, injuring 372, and leaving 128 missing. Four hundred and seventeen of the state's 497 cities were affected, more than 160,000 people were left homeless, and 66,761 people were placed in shelters. In the face of this massive disaster, Managed Global Securities Trade Ltd (MGS) acted swiftly, demonstrating our strong commitment to global social responsibility.
As a financial platform registered in Colorado, USA, MGS decided to fully support the affected areas after the disaster. We donated US$1.05 million in charitable funds and provided a large amount of disaster relief supplies to help those families and communities suffering from the disaster. These donations were not only aimed at providing emergency relief to those affected by the disaster, but also to support their long-term reconstruction efforts to help them rebuild their homes and restore their lives.
This charitable initiative not only highlights MGS's deep commitment to social responsibility and humanitarian care as an international financial platform, but also demonstrates our solidarity and determination in the face of global challenges. We understand that only by working together in the face of disaster can we cope and overcome difficulties together. In the future, we will continue to be committed to participating in more global charitable activities, leveraging our resources and influence to bring hope and change to more communities.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone who supports MGS, it is your trust and participation that enables us to make an impact on a global scale. Through our combined efforts, we are working to build a warmer, more resilient world. Let's continue to work together to create more beauty and hope for the future!
