On December 18, the Launching Ceremony for Shandong Port's In-depth Service to Local Manufacturing Development, together with the Promotion Conference for the Chemical Industry, was held in Dongying City, east China's Shandong Province.

It is an inherent responsibility for Shandong Port Group to integrate into and support the local manufacturing industrial chains of Shandong Province, China. Shandong Port will fully unleash its advantages in supply chain services, and accelerate the all-round upgrading of port services through innovation, thus contributing to the development of Dongying's high-end chemical industry as well as Shandong's overall economic growth.

The petrochemical industry serves as the ballast stone for Dongying's economy. At present, Dongying is deeply integrating into the layout of Shandong's petrochemical industry, focusing on the intelligent, ecological and integrated development, and accelerating the upgrading of the petrochemical industry.

The Shandong Land-Sea Industrial Supply Chain Integrated Service Platform (ISCC) was released at the conference. The conference also featured the promotion of Shandong Port's business scope dedicated to serving the chemical industry, and witnessed the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Shandong Port Group and Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology.
